Package Handler

Contract Duration: 2 Months 

Mon-Fri, 8-5pm

The temp will unload incoming packages from Carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Amazon) and check them into a software system via a computer. As students come to pick up packages, the temp will retrieve the package from a shelf and bring it to the front for an associate to check out to the student. Th temp may also sort incoming letter mail to student PO boxes. This position is NOT customer facing. This position will be VERY fast-paced and will require the temp to be on their feet the entire time, outside of lunches. Anyone with fast food, warehouse, or any other fast-paced job experience where a lot of moving back and forth was required could be successful in this role. This job requires a lot of lifting packages (nothing over 50lbs) and standing/walking on a concrete floor all day. If over 50 lbs., assistance is available from another team member.

They must be ale to lift 50 pounds and be on their feed for a long period of time; some walking included as well.
