About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly organized, competitive and creative Account Executive to join our downtown Chicago office located in the heart of the Loop.

This quota-carrying role is an incredible opportunity for a motivated sales professional to sell a needed cybersecurity tool across a wide range of verticals with limited competition.

As an Account Executive, you will manage all aspects of customer acquisition including prospecting, qualification, conducting product demos, explaining features and benefits, negotiating and closing.

What You Will Do

  • Drive new revenue through customer acquisition
  • Manage a portfolio of client relationships and C-level account targets
  • Organize and orchestrate your day to support a harmonious blend of outbound activities (prospecting), product demonstrations, and closing activities
  • Execute end-to-end pipeline progression utilizing the MEDDIC framework
  • Demonstrate the highest level of business and sales acumen to all targets and customers
  • Educate and influence both technical and business stakeholders
  • Serve as a product knowledge expert and successfully overcome prospective customer objections
  • Partner with other sales professionals on targeted accounts
  • Track and report progress on daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Achieve or Over-Achieve Annual Quota Directly report to the VP of Sales

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience including prospecting (cold calling), setting appointments and closing new business
  • Proven track record of high performance and exceeding quota
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - the idea of being an active participant in a growing company must excite you
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation skills
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
  • Experience selling to both technical and business stakeholders
  • “Hunter” mentality - this is a fast growth environment with ample selling opportunity
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college in business or related field
