Messa has an immediate requirement for an Aerospace Engineer to provide SARSAT in-service support advice and to ensure the Canadian SARSAT system meets the international requirements. This is a one year contract.

Must have a valid Secret Level II Security Clearance;

A minimum of three (3) years of experience within the past 10 years in the area of remote sensing and satellite systems;

A minimum of 1 year experience (recent) with the International COSPAS/SARSAT programme from a technical and operational perspective including the LEOSAR, GEOSAR, and MEOSAR systems;

Recent and detailed knowledge of the Unclassified Remote-Sensing Situational Awareness (URSA) system and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) tool;

A minimum of 1 year of experience life cycle materiel management and an understanding of the Life Cycle Materiel Manager (LCMM) role; and

Experience in the development and review of operational and procurement documentation such as Statements of Operational Requirements, System Requirements Specifications, and Statements of Work.
