Mesotech invites aspiring accountant interns to be part of our dedicated team. As an accounting intern, your role will involve assisting with daily tasks in accounts payable and receivables. Duties include:

• Electronic invoicing, using our accounting system and online AP platform.
• Researching and reaching out to vendors for incorrect or missing invoices and W-9s.
• Posting payments to appropriate GL accounts.
• Monitoring our accounts receivable and reaching out to customers for payment inquiries.
• Basic admin tasks like answering phones, filing, shredding, and updating account details.

The position offers a hands-on experience with accounting software, complemented by substantial guidance and support from our seasoned accounting team. Interns are expected to commit 10-20 hours weekly during the school year, with the opportunity to extend up to 40 hours weekly during the summer period.

This is an on-site position at our Rancho Cordova, CA facility.

Minimum qualifications:

• Must be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
• Must be enrolled in an accounting, finance, business, or related major.
• Must be interested in pursuing an accounting career.
• Ability to grasp, learn, and understand basic operation, functions and accounting procedures.
• Requires access to ITAR restricted information (must be US Person)
• Subject to thorough pre-employment background check

The base pay range for this position is $16-$20 per hour. Mesotech is an equal opportunity employer.
