At Mercury Pharmacy Services, our mission is to provide an excellent patient care experience to those we serve through innovative pharmacy services and medication compliance solutions.  As a Long Term Care Pharmacy, our specialty is providing medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Communities, and Boarding Homes across the state.

As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for the communication to and from various Healthcare agents, including patients, caregivers, and doctor’s offices. In the fast-paced environment of our pharmacy, we need someone who can type quickly and focus on important prescription details to support our large number of Long Term Care facilities across Washington. Our staff is like family, and we are looking for someone personable and able to work well with others to constantly improve work flow and service quality.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Refills: using computer software to refill patient medications upon request
Support: taking calls from, or calling, multiple patients or nurses
Authorizations: requesting authorization from doctors’ offices to fill medications
Collaboration: Engagement across multiple pharmacy departments to maximize patient care

·         Answer incoming telephone calls

·         Process verbal and faxed refill requests

·         Communicate with other Health Care Providers

·         Able to follow written and oral instruction

·         Must be well organized and detail oriented

·         Excellent computer skills

·         Types 60 wpm

·         “Ten-key” accurately and quickly

·         Must be reliable and punctual

·         Is a positive, energetic team-oriented person

Experience in medical reception or customer service preferred.

Our company will assist you with the process of becoming a licensed Pharmacy Assistant

Must have a flexible availability as we are open 7 days a week.
Shifts will be variable between:
7:00AM - 6:30PM Monday thru Saturday
9:00AM - 5:00PM on Sunday.

Part Time and Full Time positions available.
Compensation depends on experience.
