Job Description

Are you pre-pharmacy and want to get your foot in the door of pharmacy? Or are you interested in starting a career as a Pharmacy Technician?

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Packaging of medical supplies and medications
  • Operating state-of-the-art pharmacy robotic dispensing devices to package medications.
  • Verifying and applying correct labels to appropriate patient's package
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the day
  • Unloading incoming medical supply deliveries and putting them away 
  • Manually filling products into sterile packaging (bubble packages, bottles, plastic bags, etc.)
  • Other various activities assisting Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians in fulfilling medication packaging needs.

 

Qualifications

 

  • A current Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License is required.  If you do not currently hold this license, we will assist you in applying for your State license, and we reimburse your first license).
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to maintain records
  • Ability to package and label medications or related supplies
  • Ability to operate labeling and packaging equipment
  • Ability to bring a positive and professional approach to work each day.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and communicate effectively
  • Ability to learn new tasks and apply them to daily duties
  • Need to be well organized and reliable

Shifts will be variable we are open 7 days a week, with flexible schedules.
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday thru Saturday
9:00AM - 6:00PM on Sunday.
