  • Join a highly effective and experienced Business Development team, to help grow market presence and penetrate new verticals

  • Prospect for new potential clients and business partners. Areas of exploration will include TV, media, social media, marketing affiliates and more. 

  • Generate and use lead funnels for outreach, to pitch new and existing modes of business, qualify potential clients and create positive relationships

  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and optimize new client pitches 

  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to supply qualified prospects for negotiations and closing 

  • Maintain relationships to assist in the onboarding of new clients and business partners. This will involve cross functional collaboration. 

 

Success Looks Like

  • Working in a fast paced environment and being comfortable with project variety

  • Being unafraid to interact with prospective clients of all types and backgrounds while having the ability to make positive connections with them 

  • Using written, verbal and video communications with equal effectiveness 

  • Working on multiple lead funnels simultaneously 

  • Becoming fluent with the Mercatalyst business model in order to effectively articulate our value proposition

Qualifications

  • Experience with sales lead generation; sourcing leads for outreach

  • A person of action who is self motivated and driven to succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in client prospecting and outreach

  • Spreadsheet and CRM experience (Google Workspace and Salesforce preferred but not required)

  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable with change and ambiguity 

  • Experience negotiating is a plus

  • Open to any USA location, with a preference for Dallas
