We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef who would like to be part of shaping the business and future food offering in our busy all-day neighbourhood café & restaurants. Experience with dealing with all day dining and high volume, fast-paced kitchens is essential.
As a Sous Chef in Megan’s you will get:

The ideal candidate will have:
·Experience in all day dining from making homemade granola and avocado on toast through to salads and a good knowledge of meat and fish
·Good all-round kitchen skills
·Creative - we want you to help shape the food we serve so menu development and creativity essential as you will be required to run a daily specials menu
·Passion for food, ingredients and amazing display with the desire to learn and work hard
·Strong leadership skills and you will be required to recruit, train & develop your team
·Have a positive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail
·Speak a good level of English.
·Good knowledge of systems, process, H&S etc as the relevant kitchen systems need to be implemented.
Who we are:
Megan's is an all-day dining restaurant with a Mediterranean influence. In the morning, we serve breakfast's like: eggs Benedict, avocado on toast, granola, smoothies, juices and quality coffees. Over lunch we have daily chef made salads & quiches. Come the evening we serve delicious kebabs, baked eggs and stone baked pizzas. We pride ourselves on serving homely food with fantastic neighbourly service.
We currently have three locations in Chelsea, Parsons Green and Balham, and growing to more locations in the upcoming months with the mission to become the nation’s most loved neighbourhood restaurant.
