Job Description

The Acquisition department guarantees the achievement of acquisition targets across all channels and devices for the Meetic Group in all the managed countries.

Based in Paris, the Brand Acquisition Manager is in charge of the performance of Media for Germany he/she is responsible for driving growth for the markets/brands in-charge through new user acquisition. He/she is a media expert (Digital + Offline) and manages the day-to-day agencies relationships. Source of proposals, he/she continuously optimizes the budget and the campaigns in order to maximize the registrations.

Missions:

  • Acquisition Strategy:

Develop a media strategy for the countries in consistency with our annual objectives.

Define our media KPIs and our main channels of Acquisition (Digital, TV, Radio, Outdoor, Print, Cinema, VOL/ VOD, partnerships, influencers...) Execute these plans with the agency or in-house as per best fit. Additionally work with the in-house digital acquisition team (currently a direct response focus team) to get a fully integrated plan for the countries.

  • Media Agency Management:

The Acq Manager will be the main contact for the Media Agency to help them understanding our goals and will work very closely to achieve the targets as one team. He / She will be working closely with the Market Director in setting up global strategy. He/she will set up targets for the agencies and manage the contracts and daily relationships.

  • Forecasts:

The Offline Media Manager will be involved in the Forecasting exercise on a yearly and monthly basis.

He/She will be able to assess the plan and suggest plans adjustments.

Will be in-charge of rolling 3-month planning calendar - should be independently able to lead this across other teams (brand / markets) so activities like creative production / PR / Social can be integrated into effective marketing execution

  • Analysis:

Market & Competition Analysis.

Insights and learnings from the campaigns.

These involve tracking competitor SOV / SOS / market dynamics in terms of new players and ways to market / creative insights and feedback into production / ROI modelling and evolution on how to measure effectiveness of new media tests

  • Financial control:

Follow-up of the Costs Reporting

Management of the invoicing process

Qualifications

Desired Skills & experience:

Graduated from Business School or University, you worked for minimum 5 years in a similar position, in agency, or for a pure player. Professional experience in Germany would be a plus.

Having a strong business orientation, you are at ease with numbers, you cannot leave without excel and you justify from Analytical skills allowing you to optimize the efficiency of the campaigns and the ROI.

Flexible, reactive, proactive, and organized, you like to work with others (internally: online, brand, finance,…) and externally (media agencies, audit, tools…).

You are fluent in English, speaking German is a plus.

The position requires regular business travels.
