Job Description

Medtelligent is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team.  The ideal candidate will manage various accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.  This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

The right individual for this position will be passionate about being detail oriented with financial information and also enjoy connecting with clients (both internally and externally) to keep everyone informed and aligned.  They will be a high performer that enjoys continuous learning, iterations, and working with other kind, funny, high performers.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including monthly account reconciliations and general ledger entries
  • Own accounts payable and receivable lifecycles, including invoicing, receiving payments, and collections
  • Respond and assist clients with Invoice questions or billing statements
  • Monitor cash flow and manage daily banking activities
  • Manage credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist in business system implementation projects
  • Prepare schedules and support documentation for annual financial statement review / audit
  • Manage ad hoc projects as needed
  • 1-2+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, specifically Excel or Sheets
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
