Job Description

If you think this position sounds sort of like a sales position you would be right!  But with a few key differences.  Because our product has grown organically, we focus most of our attention on handling inbound leads. That is why this position will be focused on handling inbound leads and building relationships with potential clients. 

Also, because we do not believe in forcing ALIS down anyone’s throat (for the sake of general morale as well as the sanity of our onboarding, product, and engineering teams), we focus on matching features with actual problems – finding solutions.

This person will be working with communities that are looking to review and potentially purchase the ALIS product as well as current client communities looking to add modules or equipment to their ALIS package.  There is no cold calling requirement to this position.  The individual in this position would have the opportunity to explore outbound sales if they are interested.

The right person for this position will be excited about the opportunity to match incredible product features to the problems each community is uniquely facing. Must be well spoken, kind, and confident.

  • Manage all inbound leads including tracking in Salesforce, creating opportunities, and gathering statistics through the tool.
  • Potential to do initial demonstrations of the ALIS Product, preparing pricing quotes, and fielding product questions.
  • Manage all sales and upgrades to current client accounts including additional modules and hardware;
  • Learn the ALIS software product and how it solves community pain points.
  • Learn the assisted living industry and the challenges they are looking to solve with the ALIS product.
  • Assist in booking and attending visits to potential communities and industry conferences.
  • Maintain Salesforce data on clients and perspective clients.
  • Liaising with marketing team on materials and advertisements.

Qualifications

  • Good relationship builder – our current clients are growing quickly so the relationships for this position are long term;
  • Technically savvy – advanced computer skills a must including with excel, google calendar, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar product;
  • Experience showing a product through online screen share is a bonus
