Job Description

  • Initiate new vendor partnerships at the executive-level

  • Build and develop strong relationships with existing vendor partners

  • Scope trends and understand economic conditions through competitive analysis

  • Identify opportunities and select product that aligns with consumer demand and maximizes ROI

  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in negotiations in order to increase gross profit

  • Forecast product purchases and plan inventory flow for multiple product categories

  • Create purchase orders and track inventory to ensure on-time deliveries

  • Conduct inventory and channel analysis to make data driven decisions that deliver results


  • 5+ years in buying, product management, vendor management, or related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, related discipline or equivalent training and work experience

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Exceptional decision making ability and negotiation skills

  • Analytical and strategic approach to driving a business

  • Persistent, driven, and action-oriented

  • Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize workload

  • Flexible and adaptable to ever-changing and evolving objectives of a rapidly growing business
