Job Description

Our interface analysts ensure that different systems within our organization can effectively communicate and share data, which is crucial for the seamless operation of complex software environments. The Interface Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring effective communication and interaction between different software systems, components, or modules within our organization. Their core functions typically include requirement analysis, interface design, interface development, configuration, testing / validation, deployment and monitoring.

Experience:

2+Yrs of proven experience developing various types of interfaces including HL7 with systems including EHR/EMR/LIS/RIS/PACS/HIS.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be a team player, detail oriented and should possess strong analytical skills
  • Programming knowledge (any language)
  • Some knowledge of Linux (will train) 
  • Knowledge of HL7 (will train)
  • Should have initiative, the ability to work independently, meet specific deadlines, and be flexible with work schedules
  • Looking for long term tenure

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, test, deploy and monitor interface solutions using established interface protocols, processes and templates
  • Troubleshooting existing interfaces issues
  • Work in a collaborative manner with other Interface Analysts or cross-departmentally with other developers
  • Work with clients to develop and troubleshoot interface issues
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tickets based on expected deliverables

 

Qualifications

Education: Technical computer education such as developer or data engineer.
