Job Description

As a Billing Specialist, you will be involved in billing our services. Your contribution to the finance team will be to bring the invoice level up to date. This means that you will perform an analysis of accounts receivable to ensure that our customers have been correctly billed for the services consumed. The main variations are due to changes in the number of licenses, a change of plan or to an addition of new services. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will join a multidisciplinary team whose mandate is to maintain the operations and financial health of the company.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and validate invoices following customer agreements.
  • Solve billing issues and document corrections.
  • Participate in improving the billing cycle.
  • Review the billing status of each one of our clients and make the necessary corrections.
  • Improve our service to our internal client: the sales team.
  • All other related tasks.

Qualifications

Contribute to our team with your strengths:

  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in invoicing. 
  • Have a sense of initiative.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be thorough and have an eye for details.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both oral and written.
  • Post-secondary diploma (AEC, DEP, DEC) in accounting. (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct software (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce software (an asset) 

Working conditions

  • Full-time permanent position (40 hours per week).
  • Hybrid environment (2-3 days/per week in office)
