Job Description

As a QA Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web SaaS products and mobile applications. Operating in an agile development environment, you will be responsible for conducting manual testing, reviewing developer tasks and user stories, and actively participating in sprint planning and analysis meetings.

What would you do

  • Review Developer Tasks and User Stories: Ensure that developer tasks and user stories are well-written, contain all necessary information, and adhere to quality standards. Collaborate with the development team to clarify requirements.
  • Participate in Agile Development: Actively engage in agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives. Provide valuable QA insights and ensure effective communication within the development team.
  • Conduct Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing on our web SaaS products and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Document Test Cases: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure extensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with other QA Analysts to share best practices, knowledge, and insights, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Test APIs: Conduct API testing and validate data integrity to ensure that our applications communicate effectively.
  • Report and Communicate: Clearly document and communicate testing results, issues, and observations to the development team, enabling timely resolution.
  • Improve Processes: Actively participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes, methods, and tools to enhance our overall testing capabilities.

Qualifications

Contribute to our team with your strengths

  • You have experience in manual testing within an agile development environment.
  • You understand Agile methodology and the role of QA in the software development life cycle.
  • You have basic technical knowledge, including API testing, and familiarity with testing principles.
  • You're familiar with test managing tools like Jira, Xray.
  • You're familiar with tools like Figma Postman, Swagger, Chrome DevTools and SQL Server Management Studio
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You pay attention to details and know how to document test cases effectively.
  • You know QA automation tools and practices and mobile testing (an asset).
