Who we are

Founded in 2010 by two aeronautical engineers, MEDFAR Clinical Solutions developed the first web-based electronic medical record (EMR) in Quebec. MEDFAR continues to work hard to incorporate the latest technological innovations into MYLE in order to provide care teams and their patients with the tools they deserve.

As a mobile developer, you will participate in the effort to build up a brand new mobile application at MEDFAR by collaborating in the architecture, design and implementation activities of a new cross-platform (iOS/Android/Web) large-scale mobile application using a hybrid mobile development framework (React Native).

Collaborate with other internal staff and teams - mobile UX and product owners, SRE and DevOps teams, product-aligned development teams and QA team) to appropriately establish the specifications and requirements, help track development activities and ensure that the work matches the high-quality standards of MEDFAR.

Please note this is a remote role within Canada.

What you'll do

• Participate in the architecture, design, development, documentation and maintenance of high-performance, reusable, and reliable application code using React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, UX expert, SRE, architecture and product development teams) to define functional specifications of new features and their delivery, ensuring that the work meets MEDFAR’s standards of quality.
• Participate in quality assurance automation by writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and the continuous improvement of development processes.

Who you are

• You have knowledge of general architecture and concepts important to mobile application development
• You have relevant experience in mobile application development using React Native
• Extensive knowledge of mobile application CI-CD concepts and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• You're fluent in English language, French (an asset)
