Summary of Role:

The Sales Operations Manager will be instrumental in maximizing the efficiency and productivity of our teams.  This employee will proactively identify opportunities to improve all departments and will lead projects to improve our internal processes and increase overall revenue generation while optimizing our efficiency. Initiative and follow-through will be key in this role and the ideal employee will initiate and complete projects with little guidance or oversight. Additionally, this employee will supervise and serve as an escalation point for various teams within our organization who handle day-to-day operations. This role is highly cross-functional and will interact regularly with Sales, Customer Success, CRM, Solutions Engineering, Analytics, and other operational departments.

Key focuses:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for automation and improvements in efficiency, revenue, and automation
  • Analyze data and perform root cause analyses to determine optimal solutions to problems and inefficiencies
  • The creation and implementation of Sales Operations best practices
  • A key driver of Salesforce efficiency and automation
  • Develop and implement training for various departments
  • Be directly responsible for ensuring that projects get completed on time and surfaced issues get resolved
  • Hold stakeholders accountable throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Identify opportunities for Sales training and assist with building and rollout of training
  • Develop action plans based on feedback from key stakeholders
  • Synthesize results of Sales audits into high-level recommendations for efficiency and revenue improvements
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of process documentation for Sales and Support teams
  • Maintain communication with business unit leaders to make sure their needs are met
  • Contributes to strategic updates that educate the organization
  • Responsive - consistently gives updates to necessary stakeholders on projects and reported issues
  • Can be trusted to propose, prioritize, initiate, and execute projects with little oversight
  • Able to consistently deliver constructive feedback to develop talent within the growing Business Operations team
  • Intimately familiar with the Business Operations, including Sales and Customer Success best practices
  • Technologically literate - able to use, manage, understand, and assess technology
  • Resolve escalated issues
  • Manage and maintain sales process adherence of Sales Representatives
  • Review Operations and Sales team performance metrics for coaching opportunities
  • Document and communicate when interactions with customers fall below our company standards

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of Business Operations with a concentrated focus on Sales Operations
  • Experience with business process innovation and improvements
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite products and/or MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills working in ambiguity and limited direction
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong time-management skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to feedback, and work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience supporting sales teams
  • 2+ years of experience in a company with SAAS business model
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Experience with Gong, Outreach, and Zoominfo is a plus!
  • Experienced in Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques
  • Basic SQL knowledge
