Job Description

 

  • Available on a Part-time basis (minimum 2 days per week)
  • Working days are negotiable
  • Highly autonomous and flexible role with support from experienced Leaders
  • Assessments only, no case management 

Our Sydney team is growing and we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join on a part-time basis. 

You will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living, worksite, functional and ergonomic assessments.
  • Designing and implementing intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
  • Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
  • Understanding a variety of health care and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
  • Liaising with clients, family members, insurers, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve outcomes
