Occupational Therapist

  • Full-time
  • State: NSW
  • Job Status: Full Time

Company Description

Not all OT roles are created equal.
Some are… fine.
And then there are the ones where you’ve got variety, support, growth—and a team you actually enjoy being around.

This is one of those roles.

Job Description

This is one of those roles where you get a bit of everything—in the best way.

You’ll work across both clinic and community settings, supporting clients across the lifespan to build confidence, independence, and skills they can actually use in everyday life. Some days, you’ll be in the clinic bouncing ideas around with your team. Other days, you’ll be out in the community—seeing therapy come to life where it really counts.

And yes—your travel time is billable (because your time matters).

You won’t be doing it alone either. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team—sharing ideas, talking through cases, and learning from each other as you go. It’s hands‑on, meaningful work, with the right balance of autonomy and support.

You’ll be joining a team that genuinely looks out for each other. Need a second opinion? Someone will jump in. Want to bounce around an idea? There’s always someone up for a quick chat. Having one of those days? You won’t be on your own.

It’s the kind of place where you can ask questions, think out loud, and be open about the tricky stuff—not just the wins. No pressure to have it all figured out, just a team that supports you while you do.

Being part of a multidisciplinary team means there’s always fresh thinking and different perspectives around you—so collaboration just becomes part of your everyday.

And yes… there’s plenty of laughter, too. It’s a team that works hard, supports each other, and actually enjoys being around one another.

Qualifications

If you’re early in your career, you’ll gain confidence quickly with the right support around you. If you’re more experienced, you’ll have room to stretch, lead, and shape what’s next.

  • Clear pathways into clinical leadership and beyond
  • Opportunities to grow within RTS or across the wider MedHealth Group
  • Access to a national network of roles, projects, and career directions

In short—this isn’t a stop along the way. It’s somewhere you can actually grow into.

We know the day‑to‑day matters—but so do the extras.

  • Feel rewarded – competitive salary, KM reimbursement, fortnightly incentives, bonuses, and wellbeing perks
  • Access more through MedHealth – wellbeing programs, salary packaging, novated leasing, Fitness Passport, travel club, reward programs, additional leave and access to a range of corporate partnerships
  • Flexibility that actually works – with options that support your life outside of work
  • Keep growing – ongoing internal and external PD, training, and learning opportunities to build your skills and confidence

What you'll bring

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • A person‑centred approach and practical mindset
  • Interest in working with clients across the lifespan
  • Driver’s license + access to a registered vehicle
