Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Job Placement Consultant to join our dynamic, passionate, and highly skilled Shepparton team on a Full Time, 12 month parental leave cover basis.

As a Job Placement Consultant, you will support and inspire people post injury on their journey back to work by providing high quality job seeking and candidate marketing services, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Some of your day to day includes:

  • Support injured workers to develop effective job seeking skills, including resume development, interview preparation, online job search strategies and cold canvassing
  • Work collaboratively with Case Managers to achieve successful return‑to‑work outcomes, including participation in regular job‑seeking meetings as required.
  • Conduct labour market research and prepare relevant reports.
  • Assist with identifying and promoting employment opportunities for injured workers, making use of available programs and initiatives where appropriate.

You will bring energy, initiative and confidence to problem solving and driving positive outcomes. Your strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with a person‑centred approach, will enable you to build effective stakeholder relationships and consistently exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

Our new team member will have:

  • Background in Employment services, Case Management/Disability Employment (Desirable but not essential)
  • Great interpersonal skills to build and develop relationships with key customers
  • Strong resume writing skills with a good understanding of local labour market
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers
  • A current drivers' license and access to their own vehicle
