Job Description
As a WorkFocus Australia Employment Brokerage Consultant you will help people to get well and working again by assisting them to find suitable new employment.
Using your skills in engaging with people and employers, you will impact lives by equipping clients with marketable skills for new employment, helping them become competitive candidates, assist in placing injured workers in to suitable work hardening placements and by opening doors with them with employers in the best new job for them.
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will be to:
- Assist injured individuals by generating new employment opportunities with potential employers and manage the commencement and sustainability of this employment
- Collaborate with WorkFocus Australia's team of Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants, who will refer Injured Workers from their caseload to you for reverse marketing
- Provide job seeking assistance services tailored to individual needs, primarily through a combination of candidate marketing and vacancy generation.
- Identify and maintain a database of employers and engage them to employ our injured workers.
- Develop and harness a network of employers to secure on the job training and employment opportunities for your client
- Understand current employment incentive schemes and how to use them to get your client the best new job for them
Qualifications
