Job Description

We’re excited to be expanding our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants living in the Wollongong & Nowra region's and welcome an Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community. 

Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Wollongong, Nowra & surrounding suburbs. You might find yourself in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or the clinic space.

Our clinicians advocate strongly for our participants so that they can get the support they need, when they need it! You will...

  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity to perform ADL’s and IADL’s
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
  • Participate in professional development and receive formal 1:1 supervision 
  • Engage in group supervision & disability specific workshops
  • Collaborate with our wider multidisciplinary team of Speechies, Physio's, EP's, Psychologists and BSP's.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
    • A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
    • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
    • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
