Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others achieve their career goals? We're excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Job Coach to join our team in Hindmarsh, Australia. As a Job Coach, you'll play a crucial role in guiding and supporting individuals on their journey to sustainable employment.

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to clients, helping them identify their strengths and career aspirations
  • Develop personalized action plans to enhance clients' job readiness and employability skills
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback to improve clients' interview performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for clients
  • Assist clients in creating compelling resumes and cover letters tailored to specific job applications
  • Organize and facilitate job search workshops and career development seminars
  • Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful job placements
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with team members to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the program
  • Stay informed about local job market trends and employment opportunities to better serve clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year's experience in customer service or a client-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals overcoming challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
  • Proficiency in motivating and encouraging clients to achieve their goals
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • Knowledge of local job market trends and employment opportunities
  • Comfortable working towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Genuine passion for helping others and connecting people with meaningful employment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred (but not required)
