Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Job Coach to join our team in Blacktown, Australia. As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our clients towards job readiness and sustainable employment opportunities. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on people's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to clients, helping them identify their strengths and career goals
- Develop personalized action plans to enhance clients' job readiness and employability skills
- Conduct job search workshops and training sessions on resume writing, interview techniques, and professional networking
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for clients
- Perform job matching and reverse marketing of clients to potential employers
- Assist clients in navigating the job application process, including resume preparation and interview practice
- Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful job placements
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, job placements, and outcomes
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure comprehensive support for clients
- Stay updated on local job market trends and employment opportunities to better serve our clients
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year's experience in customer service or a client-facing role
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals overcoming challenges (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to overcoming obstacles
- Proficiency in job search techniques and familiarity with local employment resources
- Ability to work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieve placement targets
- Confident in liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of the local job market and current employment trends
- Empathetic and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others succeed
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (preferred)
- Current driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
