Job Description

The Position:

This is an on-site position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Job Coach to join our team in Lakembaand Surrounding Suburbs. . As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting individuals to achieve their career goals and secure sustainable employment.

  • Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients to assess their skills, interests, and career aspirations
  • Develop personalized career plans and provide guidance on job search strategies
  • Assist clients in creating effective resumes, cover letters, and online professional profiles
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback to improve clients' interview skills
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers to source job opportunities
  • Organize and facilitate job readiness workshops and training sessions
  • Match clients with suitable job openings and provide ongoing support during the application process
  • Collaborate with team members to share best practices and contribute to program improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes
  • Stay updated on local job market trends and employment opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year's experience in a customer service or client-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals overcoming challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Goal-oriented mindset with experience working towards KPIs
  • Proficiency in using job search tools and resources
  • Knowledge of job market trends and employment practices
  • Ability to develop and implement effective career plans
  • Empathetic and motivational approach to client support
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and market conditions
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Current driver's license
