Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Psychologist to provide Assessment and Wellbeing Support Services within the personal injury and disability schemes

Due to exciting business growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Psychologist to join our dynamic team of allied health professionals. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality psychological and vocational assessments and rehabilitation support to help individuals on their journey to recovery and well-being.

Your Role:

As a Registered Psychologist, you will be working with a diverse range of clients, where your expertise will ensure the delivery of clear, informed, and actionable reports that align with the needs of the relevant insurance scheme. Along with assessments, you will also provide wellbeing education and psychological support programs across our portfolio.

You will complete a range of assessments include Employability Assessments, ETE Assessments, Transferable Skills Assessments, Occupational Analyses (cognitive demands) and Functional Capacity Evaluations.

This role is either Sydney based or can be fully remote.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting both desktop-based and interview-based assessments, tailoring your approach to the unique needs of each referral.
  • Applying your knowledge to problem-solve complex cases and provide well-reasoned, evidence-based decisions.
  • Writing comprehensive reports that clearly justify your conclusions, highlighting the most relevant findings.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to holistic, client-focused outcomes.
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions to improve psychological wellbeing, focusing on pain management, coping strategies, and overall adjustment to injury.
  • Working on innovations and product offerings depending on customer needs and trends in the market.

Qualifications

Is this you?

  • You hold tertiary qualifications in psychology
  • 5 years’ experience completing assessments, with expertise in Life Insurance or related fields
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering robust, high-quality reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • You possess current AHPRA registration
