Job Description

Kickstart 2025 with a new exciting opportunity! Join the Occupational Rehabilitation team as a Graduate Rehabilitation Consultant and you will be provided with all the tools, support, and training to set you up to succeed in your new career! 

Every day is different but each day you will have the opportunity to assist people to return to wellness, work and ultimately experience an improved quality of life. 

You will:

  • Engage in formal and experiential training to develop the skills you need to feel competent and confident in your role;
  • Assess client needs, develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities;
  • Play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach to recovery and return to work, always with your client’s best interests at heart
  • Perform assessments such as initial assessments, functional capacity assessments, early intervention, home, worksite and ergonomic assessments, as well as vocational assessments;
  • Build rapport with key stakeholders throughout the process including the ill or injured individual, their treating health practitioners, employers and insurers.

New team members are matched up with a buddy and enjoy comprehensive induction and employee assistance programs combined by ongoing workplace mentoring.

Qualifications

Our new Graduates will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;
  • Current (or working towards) registration with AHPRA
  • National Police Check (within the last 2 years) & a current Working With Children Check
  • Strong communication skills to build and develop positive working relationships
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits.
  • current driver licence and access to their own vehicle with comprehensive insurance is a must.
