Job Description
How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:
As a DVA Consultant you will play a vital role in the provision of rehabilitation services for our DVA portfolio. You will help to build better lives for Australia Veterans through a whole of person rehabilitation approach.
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:
- Case management of DVA files within medical, psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation
- Managing DVA files within the DVA legislative framework
- Liaising with clients, their families and medical providers to assist veterans transition to civilian life.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counsellor and Physiotherapy
- Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and driver's license compulsory)
- Sound knowledge of DVA files and legislation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
- A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
