We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Sydney on a full-time or part-time basis! 

On a day-to-day basis you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace. As a valued team member, you will have the responsibility of assessing needs and then providing effective solutions and strategies to ensure that Kairros clients receive a safe return to work within their same employer or with a new employer as part of their rehabilitation and recovery.

A day in the life of a Rehabilitation Consultant:

• Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. Including worksite, functional, ergonomic, activities of daily living 
• Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
• Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
• Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
• Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes

Experience you will bring to the team:

• An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with the many diverse cultural groups that make up the society in which we live and work
• The ability to engage with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) clients and stakeholders in their recovery and return to work journey
• A passion for empowering people to achieve their health and wellness goals
• A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence needed)
• Qualifications and relevant registration in any of the following:
  • Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology 
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
• Current or able to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
