About the role

As our company continues to grow, we're looking to add to our western Sydney teams' expertise in the specialised fields of home modifications and assistive technology.  Are you experienced in these fields and looking to work for a thriving business where your passion, expertise and desire to excel will be valued?

 

Responsibilities will include;

  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner with the assistance of an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Assess participants' requirements in relation to home modifications and assistive technology, and determine the best solutions to meet their needs
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Mentor graduates and early career clinicians
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

About you

To be successful you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experienced in home modifications and assistive technology
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Pro-active attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
  • Genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
