What your day will look like:

  • You will be managing a caseload - definitely a hands-on role!
  • Assess client needs and develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities 
  • You will play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach, always with clients best interests at heart
  • Working with people with both physical and psychological diagnoses
  • The breadth and diversity of our clients, customers and staff mean you will be exposed to a variety of opportunities and interest areas;
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders - injured clients, employers, insurers, treating health practitioners - to facilitate a safe and sustainable return to work for your clients.

The essentials and the desirables!

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!

  • Allied health qualifications in Psychology (Fully Registered, or Provisional)
  • AHPRA Registration
  • A valid Australian drivers license and car
  • Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation preferred but not essential
  •  A desire to learn and grow your experience in Occ Rehab with our help!
  • Be great if you can work on your own yet always knowing you are part of a tight knit and collaborative team
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy
  • It's the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus!
