Your Opportunity

Due to business growth, we are looking for a Consultant, with skills managing clients with mental health conditions and tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology, to join our team in Cairns.

Like our best performers, you will be a driven and energetic professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. Your personable approach will assist to manage stakeholder expectations and to build strong relationships with key customers.

Qualifications

You will also have:

  • Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency); or membership with RCAA (Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australasia), or Associate or Full membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors); or Australian Association of Social Workers

  • Allied Health Qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work;
  • Relevant experience working with clients with mental health conditions
  • The ability to proactively manage a case load and achieve outstanding results for the customer and client;
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers
  • Current driver's license and motor vehicle
