Job Description

The role of an Return to work and WorkCover Consultant at Cogent Thinking includes providing injury prevention and return to work services (or similar services) to customers, in order to assist injured individuals return to work with their pre-injury employer, ensuring excellence in and quality of service delivery and customer service. 

You will be responsible for maintaining an active knowledge of work health and safety practices and procedures, including working across multiple states Workers Compensation legislation and variety of industries.  You will provide exceptional advice to all key stakeholders in a return to work process including injured employees, managers and key contacts. This position will include working with clients to offer injury prevention and early intervention incident management services and you will establish yourself as a point of contact for our stakeholders in understanding Return to Work and case management principles. 

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic team player; who is customer service focussed and passionate about in delivering outcomes. 

In addition to our return to work service, you will be given an opportunity to work across our broad health and wellbeing service offerings at Cogent Thinking, including Injury Triage, Care Coordination and Training Programs.
 

Qualifications

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Health related degree is desirable (APHRA, ESSA or Nursing Registration).
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound time management and organisational skills.
  • Good injury management and workers compensation experience/knowledge.
  • Well-developed business acumen.
  • Strategic and Analytical thinking ability.
  • Hold and maintain a current Australian Driver’s Licence.
