As an Employment Brokerage Consultant, you will assist IPAR’s job seeking clients by sourcing suitable job vacancies and negotiating employment opportunities with employers across metropolitan Melbourne. Through outbound calling and face-to-face contact, you will market incentives to potential employers and build a comprehensive network of employers for future job placements. You will screen and refer IPAR’s job seekers to employment opportunities resulting in sustainable employment outcomes.
You will utilise your comprehensive knowledge of labour market information and trends and effectively work with our vocational services team to ensure that the vacancies you source are in line with the current needs and employment goals of IPAR’s job seeking clients, and are filled with the most appropriate candidates.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Extensive sales, reverse marketing and/or recruitment experience
- Strong local networks and understanding of the current labour market in Metropolitan Melbourne
- A current and valid drivers' license
Prior experience placing disadvantaged job seekers into sustainable employment within employment services and/or the occupational rehabilitation industry, is desirable but not essential. Recruitment background would also be advantageous!
