Job Description

We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist who will join our Data Science team that is building the best-in-class cyber insurance risk modeling platform. The ideal candidate will have education or equivalent professional experience in analyzing large data sets, familiarity with different ML modeling techniques, and hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries. If you are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights, we want to talk to you. 

The things we'd like you to do: 

  • Build tools to automate data collection and set up data pipelines that populate our Data Lake 

  • Assist in tuning and validation of cyber-insurance risk models  

  • Create reports and data visualizations to present analytic results 

  • Research new data sets and modeling techniques to improve our predictive modeling efficacy 


  • BS/MS in Data Science or equivalent experience 

  • Experience working with Machine Learning software and languages including Python, Jupyter notebooks, and ML/Data Analytics libraries 

  • Working knowledge of Data Engineering tools on AWS such as Glue, Athena, S3 

  • Familiarity with Agile software development process
