Job Description

Responsibilities: Including the following.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products.
  • Inspect cylinders for visual and structural defects, ensuring all products meet quality standards.
  • Perform structural testing on cylinders and accurately identify, reject, and mark defective parts.
  • Install and remove fittings on cylinders while following established safety and operational protocols.
  • Operate at various workstations as required to support production flow and efficiency.
  • Safely operate lifting devices and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Monitor finished products to verify compliance with quality specifications.
  • Looks for opportunities to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes, and overall improvement efforts.
  • Follow all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures. 
  • Read, understand, and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management.
  • Shut down the process if unsafe.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Starting Wage: $19.94/hour.
