Job Description
Control downtime and maintain production, safety and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
What You'll Do:
•Basic PLC experience, AC & DC control circuits & wiring, welding, conduit, bending, communications (Data-Hwy, Remote IO)
•Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery
•Trouble shoot and repair equipment, machinery, electric controls, panel construction, wiring, fabricate, weld, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, solder, grind, saw, use hand tools and other shop equipment
•Safely modify & install energy control devices
•Monitor equipment and operations to meet qualify and safety standards
•Comply with LOTO, Confined Space, Respirator & other applicable training and procedures
•Follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions & engineering specs
•Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; talking to operator or supervisors, manufacturer’s manual and using precision measuring and testing equipment
•Adjust functional parts of devices and control
•Maintain maintenance supplies by anticipating needed equipment and communicating needed supplies and irregularities
•Maintain technical knowledge
•Provide direction, guidance, information and resolve customer or product design concerns
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge
Qualifications
Who You Are:
•Maintenance, PLC, electrical, welding Technical training or equivalent experience
•Must have 2 years mechanical, electrical, PLC, Welding, Communications (Data-Hwy, Remote IO) experience
•Excellent communications and people skills
•Legible handwriting, read & understand instructions, drawings and electrical, pneumatics & hydraulic schematics
•Complete paperwork accurately and timely
•Self-directed
•Must provide tools as required to complete job duties
