Job Description

Job summary:

Mazeed is a UAE-based financial management platform offering a hybrid model of SaaS + Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS). We help SMEs manage their accounting, tax, and financial operations through a combination of software and expert support. We’re building a new cloud-based SaaS platform designed for scale, usability, and integration — and we’re growing our engineering team to make that happen. 

Why This Role Matters 

As a Front End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for creating intuitive, responsive, and performant user experiences across both our customer-facing SaaS product and internal operational tools. You’ll work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to translate complex financial workflows into usable, scalable UI components — delivering features that power onboarding, billing, document management, reporting, and more. 

Your work will have a direct impact on: 

  • How our customers experience and interact with the platform 

  • How internal teams navigate their tools and workflows 

  • The overall usability, adoption, and visual polish of the Mazeed product 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain React-based frontends for both web and internal dashboards 

  • Translate Figma designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect UI components 

  • Optimize apps for speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility 

  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate with REST APIs and serverless functions 

  • Help establish front-end development standards, reusable component libraries, and design systems 

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and QA cycles 

  • Support product experimentation and usability improvements 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development 

  • Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) 

  • Experience working with component libraries like Tailwind, Material UI, or Chakra UI 

  • Understanding of state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux, React Context) 

  • Comfortable working with REST APIs and async data flows 

  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design 

  • Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS or internal tool interfaces (e.g., onboarding dashboards, billing pages, etc.)

  • Internal tools are usable and empower non-technical teams 

  • Frontend codebase is modular, well-documented, and easy to iterate on 

  • New features are delivered quickly and match design intent
