Job Description

McLedger is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Engineer (QC) to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through a combination of manual and exploratory testing practices. We are searching for a candidate with a strong understanding of software development fundamentals and a passion for quality assurance. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to gain a thorough understanding of software requirements and functionalities. 

  •  1 - 2 years of experience in a software testing role. 

  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases covering various functionalities and user scenarios. 

  • Conduct thorough manual testing, including exploratory, regression, and usability testing. 

  • Identify, document, and report bugs and defects effectively, providing clear steps to reproduce the issue. 

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in software testing methodologies. 

  • Maintain clear and concise test case documentation. 

  • Participate on automation tasks using selenium WebDriver and Appium 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). 

  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance. 

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Automation knowledge selenium WebDriver and Appium using java  must 

  • Experienced in working in accounting projects is a plus.
