Job Description
The Lead Cabin Cleaning Agent will direct the daily activities of the team, balance resources, and is responsible for supporting a team's ability to achieve mutually established goals. This role is responsible for providing support in turning an aircraft on-time, with a focus on safety and service. The Lead Cabin Cleaning Agent performs all Cabin Cleaning Agent duties while mentoring and setting an example for team members.

- Exhibits safety first mindset and encourages team to stop the operation when something does not feel safe, or something is questionable and follows this principle for every task
- Coach, train, and mentor new team members and provide guidance to more experienced team members to ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed. Maintain curiosity, seek better ways to do things for ongoing improvement
- Demonstrates being a role model by being to flights on-time and be prepared. Follows all operational and safety procedures to include load plans to ensure accuracy and on-time departures.
- Must set an example for the team and embody the McGee values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability, and Pride always and portray a positive image in this customer-facing role
- Flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
Must haves to join our team
- Six months experience as a McGee Cabin Cleaning Agent
- Less than six attendance points
- No disciple above a written warning
- Meets all other minimum requirements as outlined in the Ramp Agent job description to include:
- Open availability
- Ability to maintain a SIDA badge, CBP seal, and USPS security clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Interpersonal skills
- Performing basic mathematic calculations
- Ability to give/receive instructions in English
- Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements of the Job
All team members are required to be able to constantly lift, push, pull, stack and maneuver up to 75 pounds on a frequent, consistent and repetitive basis. Certain roles require team members to work while on their knees, at or above their shoulders, or while bending or stooping.

This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Per the CBA, work schedules are awarded based on seniority. New hires are awarded their initial shift based on operational need. Therefore, the company cannot guarantee certain days off.
Pay
- Lead Differential: $6/Hour
Lead Ramp Agent Earning Range: $30.06-32.22 per hour

Physical Demands & Work Conditions
Lifting/Carrying: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry baggage and cargo weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds or more. This often involves lifting items onto raised surfaces or into confined aircraft bins.
Movement:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and twisting for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts or more).
Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work in cramped or high places.
Manual dexterity required for handling documents and operating equipment.
Driving/Operating Equipment: Must be able to operate various ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, which requires a valid driver's license and the physical capability to do so safely.
Vision/Hearing: Clear vision (including depth perception and peripheral vision) and hearing are required for monitoring flight information, communication via radio/headsets, and safety compliance in a noisy environment.
Outdoor Exposure: The job is performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Noise and Environment: The work environment is very noisy, near active aircraft engines and ground support machinery, and may involve exposure to fumes, dust, and other airborne particles. Hearing protection is usually provided and required.
Physical Capabilities Testing
This position requires significant physical agility; you may be required to complete a Physical Capabilities Test post offer that will demonstrate your ability to:
- Lift, carry, and place weighted standardized boxes, suitcases, or duffel bags from floor height to overhead.
- Climb steps carrying weighted standardized box, suitcase, or duffel bags.
- Sit and rotate to the left, right, and behind and visually identify a letter or number.
- Pull a weighted sled a standardized distance.
