Starting Rate
$22.24/hr ($25.24/hr with reliability pay)
To recognize individual reliability, you will be eligible to earn an additional $3 per hour. This bonus applies to team members who fully work their bid schedule per pay period, do not accrue ANY attendance points, and on active payroll at the beginning and end of the pay period.

Job Description
The Towing Operation is a specialty position within the Ramp Service classification that performs work related to the movement of aircraft. A Tow Team Member must successfully complete the required training program, including annual recurrent training and testing, for both McGee and the port authority.
- Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail safely and efficiently
- Operate various ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and pushback tractors
- Guide aircraft into and out of gates using hand signals and wing walking procedures
- Perform aircraft cabin services including cleaning and restocking
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain clear communication with flight crews and other ground personnel
- Monitor weather conditions and take appropriate safety measures
- Assist in de-icing operations during winter weather conditions
- Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
Qualifications

- Previous experience pushing or towing aircraft.
- Operations of equipment such as tugs/tractors, and belt loaders.
- Working in an environment full of activity, fast-paced, and often noisy.

- Must comfortably, frequently, continuously and within short timelines: lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.
Must haves to join our team
- Working a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours
- Able to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
- Obtaining and maintaining an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting required
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
- Understanding and ability to utilize electronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
- Performing basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights)
- 6 months Ramp experience
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license and one of the following documents to be qualified for this position.
- Original or certified copy of a birth certificate
- Unexpired US Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
- Unexpired US Territory Passport and I-94

Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
Important notification for employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. Union Information
This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Per the CBA, work schedules are awarded based on seniority. New hires are awarded their initial shift based on operational need. Therefore, the company cannot guarantee certain days off.
