Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to join the HR Solutions team and support the management of our Solix Common Data Platform (CDP) implementation and operations. CDP will serve as the central repository to house data archived through our Global People, Global Finance, and Global Indirect Procurement Modernization programs. Global users will access CDP to view and report on this data, enabling them to deliver their business services. This Project Manager will collaborate with our business teams, the application vendor, and our technical team to develop, implement, and operate effective business solutions. The candidate will have strong project management and communication skills and will work in an agile environment to implement, enhance, and operate the CDP.
As a Project Manager, you will also play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting complex datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. This role will deliver executive-level communication and analysis as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet project planning, execution, and delivery responsibilities.
Create and maintain project plans, project status reports, user acceptance test plans, and training guides.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data and analytics requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for technical teams.
Working closely with the technical team to ensure the availability, accuracy, and quality of data.
Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for business users.
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate data and analytics solutions against business requirements.
Maintain detailed knowledge of the key CDP business processes and systems and identify integration, alignment, and improvement opportunities
Provide support and training to business users on CDP data tools, reports, and analytics platforms.
Collaborate with fellow IT teams to ensure the proper implementation and integration of data solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data warehousing and analytics to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability and flexibility to coordinate and work with teams distributed across time zones, as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, strategy, data analytics, or related fields.
4+ years of expertise in one or several of the following areas: technical project management, agile methodology, and product-centric operating model.
Expertise in meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
Managed technical application implementation and operation budgets.
Ability to motivate, guide, and manage teams to achieve goals.
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple global stakeholders.
Proficiency in data querying and analysis of large datasets using SQL.
Proficiency with PM software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) and understanding of industry-specific tools.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to inform and align stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems.
Experience with data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
