Job Description

The Supervisor – Planning, Alignment and Communications will be a part of the GBS Planning, Alignment and Communications Team, reporting to the Director. This person will support the development of key areas related to multi-year engagement planning, alignment and Global Business Services (GBS) communications ensuring our GBS Vision and Strategy is alive and strong every day within our Segment.

This role requires a highly organized individual who can work effectively in a matrix organization and effectively collaborate with others, support decision-making processes, and facilitate communication and engagement activities with high quality deliverables across the Segment.

Responsibilities

Strategic Support:

  • Collaborate with Alignment Director(s) to develop and set the GBS Segment strategy and goals
  • Partner with Alignment Director(s) to complete the GBS Vision and Strategy and engage key partners across the business
  • Develop and implement processes and tools that ensure smooth operations within GBS

Communication and Engagement:

  • Provide necessary strategic communication support for daily operations and engagement of the GBS Segment
  • Collaborate with Alignment Director(s) to plan and implement GBS engagement and culture activation activities
  • Partner with the Alignment Director (s) to align, plan, and execute the Communications Calendar
  • Partner with Alignment Director(s) and global teams to ensure communications are well-timed and consistent for Modernizing McDonald’s
  • Partner with Alignment Director(s) to develop and deliver communication and engagement reporting
  • Support social media engagement for GBS Senior Leadership Team
  • Partner with Alignment Director(s) on special projects and initiatives to achieve strategic goals

The expected salary range for this role is $87,050 $108,810.00 per year

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Change Management, Business Administration, HR or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Communications, HR, or relevant area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong skillset in supporting the design and delivery of meetings for large audiences (virtual and in person) including technical capability in meeting technology.
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft and communication tools
  • Experience in supporting leader social media
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives simultaneously
  • Self-driven, meticulous, and adaptable to changing priorities
