Job Description

Following a hybrid work model out of our global headquarters in Chicago, IL (USA), a Manager of Technology FP&A will be a part of the Business Advisory Services team within the Corporate Controller Group (CCG). This role offers a unique opportunity to provide financial expertise, direction, and strategic thought partnership to our innovative Global Technology team.

As a Manager of Technology FP&A, you will play a critical role in leading the financial performance and planning of one of our largest and most complex Global business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Support comprehensive business cases for major technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial objectives. This includes analyzing costs, benefits, risks, and alternatives to support decision-making processes.
  • Support relevant components of financial analysis and evaluation of value realization for quarterly presentations to Global SLT for transformational cases (namely archOS). This will require the ability to navigate complex work streams and contribute to high-impact financial modeling in addition to developing materials that will be shared with Senior Management.
  • Support ongoing communication and engagement with subset of technology/MCX partners throughout the lifecycle of projects, providing regular updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunities, and adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with key partners across various departments and levels of the organization, including senior executives, department leaders, and project teams, to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and secure agreement for proposed initiatives.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams to deliver results through both direct employees and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Drive organizational change and process improvements to adapt to dynamic technology and business environments.

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860 – 143,900 / per year

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field is required (CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience within Finance, including FP&A or Corporate Finance is required; Big 4, or similar consulting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial consolidation software and financial reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is required.
  • Executive-level communication skills and presence – ability to level-up the details, identify what’s important, and advise our leadership team.
  • Consistent record of leading challenging priorities and addressing roadblocks –desire to work independently amid ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills – ability to interact with all fields, levels, and cultures and establish relationships.
  • A strategic approach, bias towards action, skepticism of the status quo, and can-do attitude – someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team.
