Job Description

Could you be our next Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator?
The QA Coordinator provides a support function to ensure food safety and quality standards are effectively communicated and achieved across the system supporting both Australia and New Zealand markets. In addition, this role will work closely with suppliers and McDonald’s Quality Assurance Managers (QAMs) to develop and execute programs for food product and equipment validation. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Conducting product and equipment cook and/or yield validations in the test kitchen as required and general product quality testing.
  • Supporting QAMs in creating and maintaining product specifications
  • Reviewing customer complaint trends
  • Co-ordinating restaurant trials for QA initiated projects

Qualifications

Your keys to success:

  • Degree Qualified in Food Science/Technology (Final Year or Recent Graduate)
  • A clear, confident, and concise communicator
  • Well-organised, demonstrated project management skills; able to set and work to tight deadlines
  • A proven ability to work under pressure in both acute and planned environments
  • Self-motivated and proactive, takes the initiative to pre-empt opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Committed to principles of food safety and driven to uphold these principles
  • Great at building strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers and suppliers
