Job Description

We are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor for our local McDonald's Restaurant market. We operate a number of McDonald's Restaurants throughout Calgary, Airdrie and Strathmore, Alberta. 

The Operations Supervisor provides leadership, coaching and direction for all areas of restaurant operations in order to maximize the long-term sales and profitability of each restaurant. If this opportunity sounds compelling to you, then read on. We’d love to hear from you!

The successful candidate will:

. Promote a culture where we provide an exceptional Guest experience at all times

. Grow sustainable restaurant sales, guest counts and profitability that meet and exceed targets

. Identify restaurant capacity constraints, guest counts and sales growth opportunities and be able to develop and execute an operationally sound mitigation and growth plan

. Coach Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers to adopt sales building mindsets as well as provide ongoing education on areas of restaurant profitability

. Lead successful deployments and ongoing execution of national and local sales building initiatives to drive sales and Brand leadership

. Ensure all restaurants meet and exceed McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness including Food Safety standards

. Ensure management and crew at all levels are being developed and that individual performance plans and review schedules are in place

. Lead recruiting, selecting and on-boarding as well as retention practices of managers and crew to ensure high quality talent is in place across all restaurants 

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

. Current or previous Operations Supervisor experience with McDonald's

. Completion of all McDonald's training courses up to and including Business Leadership Practices is an asset

. Demonstrated record of consistently achieving and exceeding operations standards

. Proven record of People First approach to achieving results
