Who?
Established 16 years ago, my client is one of Birmingham’s leading Scaffolding Contractors with 2M turnover and 50 staff across the area and ambitious growth plans to reach 10M turnover in the next 5 years.
Why?
Having just moved in to brand new premises and successful contract wins and a new “vision” for the growth of the company, the managing director is putting in a new level of management to assist the company as it moves towards becoming a 10M turnover scaffolding contractor.
What?
My client is looking to appoint 2 experienced (locally based) Contracts Managers who has experience working with traditional tube and fit scaffolding systems in the housebuilding sector. It would also be advantageous if you have experience working with load deck systems such as G-Deck.
In this position you will be managing contracts on 8/10 sites at any one time all based within a 1 hour radius of Birmingham City Centre with current sites in Telford, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Warrington & Leamington Spa.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working autonomously in a site-based role where you will be given laptop, plug-in wifi and company car to allow you to go straight to site in the mornings. Usual hours at 0730-1630 with 1-hour lunch break.
Our client has grown over the past 16 years by their absolute commitment to quality workmanship. In this position you will be expected to promote quality workmanship, drive site performance, ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget and all H&S safety standards are adhered to. You must be IT literate to succeed in this position.
