The Associate Strategist works closely with the Strategy team to support department-wide strategic initiatives through intelligence gathering, researching design-analysis, and finding strategic support materials. They work closely with the other disciplines in delivering and exceeding client expectations.

Accountabilities

The Associate Strategist for McCann NY will be required to:

• Use, understand, and execute various research methodologies to uncover key marketing opportunities
• Positively impact the creative product through sharp insights and inspiration
• Partner with other departments to ensure consumer insight is incorporated into marketing platforms
• Source and identify daily consumer news and trends to share with the Agency
• Any tasks as assigned

Requirements

Candidates are expected to have a minimum of:      

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required
• Related internship experience
• Strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of research and marketing basics
