Job Description

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will manage and provide comprehensive pre-sales support to the Business Development teams in order to aid new client acquisition. You will provide pre-sales support to the Commercial team to help develop existing key accounts and increase overall team efficiency and knowledge through working with the Client Services teams to understand best practices and with the Product and Platforms teams to understand how the platform infrastructure and solutions operate at a technical level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide consultative insight into the application of Maxymiser’s product suite to meet business challenges
• Manage the production of responses to RFPs and RFIs
• Responsible for providing technical feedback from the market to Product Marketing regarding product functionality and market/customer demands.
• Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand the product roadmap and communicate to sales teams
• Produce industry sector specific demo sets showcasing best practice and Maxymiser services expertise and technology advantage
• Share competitive and sales intelligence with wider sales team and maintain up-to-date aide memoire versus competitors
• Input into continuous improvement of both sales presentation decks & collateral and sales process & methodology

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent - technical discipline preferable
• 4+ years of experience in a client facing role
• Relevant experience would include eBusiness, CRM, Web Analytics, CMS and/or AB and Multivariate testing
• Experience with supporting sales function in securing new and upsell revenues across a technically advanced product suite
• Strong technical aptitude coupled with strong understanding of business value
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
• Able to maintain a high level of productivity and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative and team oriented environment
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability to management.
• An appreciation of web technologies is ideal, particularly HTML, CSS and Javascript to facilitate working alongside developers and tech teams but no coding experience is required
• Whilst not essential, it would be an advantage to have completed and operated under methodologies such as the gold and blue sheet Miller Heiman process for Strategic Account Management
• Fluency in English essential, fluency in German and/or French highly desirable
