Job Description

The Global Director of Marketing & Communication will be responsible for developing and building a cohesive marketing strategy and plan for Perma Pure Group, LLC which incorporates upstream, downstream marketing, brand strategy, along with management of internal communication team. The Director will play a critical leadership role, reporting directly to Chief Commercial Officer, collaborating with Product Management, Product Development, Customer Service & Commercial team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Developing brand strategy roadmap and implementation.
  • Partner with product management for upstream marketing strategy.
  • Develop and execute downstream marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate and engage with agencies to support web refresh and expanded ecommerce enablement.
  • Lead and build-out a marketing team required to support strategic marketing roadmap.
  • Work closely with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and subject matter experts to build messaging content from conception to promotion.
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective.
  • Work with sales to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients.
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service.
  • Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards.
  • Drives and supports internal communications for Perma Pure Group.

 

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a strategic marketing role, ideally within the medical industry. 
  • 7-10 years’ experience managing or conducting market research, including customer interviews. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficient in software packages for database, word processing, and spreadsheet; (Microsoft office) 
  • A strong background in medical devices with an understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes preferred.  
  • Ability to travel 10-30%

 

Educational Competence, Training and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
